Dan Bermingham

Research Associate

Dan Bermingham is a Research Associate at RM Global (US office). He is a seasoned scientific professional with a robust background in research and drug development. He earned his PhD in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University in 2016 followed by a postdoc at Northwestern University, where his research focused on advancing our understanding of the brain and neurological disorders. From 2019-2024, Dan built extensive experience working at two leading biotech companies, Alector and Eikon Therapeutics. During his tenure, he contributed to cutting-edge drug development efforts aimed at treating complex neurodegenerative diseases. He has broad experience working across the full preclinical life cycle of drug development, from program inception to IND, yielding valuable understanding of the steps necessary to advance a drug to the clinic. Across his academic and industry careers, he has published 10 papers, been awarded multiple personal NIH fellowships, and is an inventor on two patents.

With a strong foundation in scientific research and hands-on experience in the biotech industry, Dan is now focused on transitioning into a career in Life Sciences investing and advising. His deep scientific expertise, combined with his industry experience, positions him to provide valuable insights and strategic guidance to emerging biotech companies and investors in the life sciences sector.
